ROSEVILLE RESIDENCE II - REVIVING A FEDERATION GEM

Sometimes the most wonderful outcomes are not in the volume and scale of the project at its completion, but in knowing that the beautiful end result comes from time, care and consideration at every step. Originally our client came to us simply for advice on paint colours, and assistance with what to do with the original floorboards in this federation home in the heart of Roseville. This evolved slowly into the full revival of most areas of this home - carefully incorporating family heirlooms, artwork and antiques together with new furnishings, custom window coverings and upholstery, and a new ensuite. Our client was keen to see the federation details in their home through fresh eyes by introducing contemporary touches in colour, furniture and accessories. In the process this created a long-lasting and trusting relationship with our client - leading to the start of other exciting projects to be collaborated on together.

“I first contacted Lori to help me with interior styling of our federation home. We had a lot of family heirloom pieces and I wanted to add a contemporary feel to the house. I had seen some of her work online and was really impressed. Lori and I met, she got to know my style and away we went. Window furnishings, furniture, lighting and accessories. Lori totally understood what I was trying to achieve blending old and new and it has turned out so nicely. Next we engaged Lori to assist with our en-suite renovation. She designed the bathroom, ordered the products, arranged the builders, liaised with the trades and managed the process from start to finish. First time I can say I was “relaxed” with builders. And I LOVE the finished product”
