The SYMPATHETIC REFRESH of a HIGHLANDS family home.

Set on a large parcel of land, in the picturesque Southern Highlands town of Berrima, this family home goes through a lot each day. As well as home to a wonderful Highlands family, it is headquarters to a very busy family-run business. It endures messy boots, equipment, multiple muddy dog paws, as well as the day-to-day lives of the family that live here. Whilst the focus was to be on natural tones and materials as much as possible, it had to be robust and functional, and most importantly had to be a true home.

“When we started the process of renovating our home, I found the whole idea so overwhelming.

Even the thought of engaging a designer was daunting, but on our first meeting with Lori, instantly I knew I was in capable hands.  We were so on the same page, she understood that given the crazy world we live in, with our business, dogs and farm mess, that it needed to be practical and functional, but also beautiful.

And what she delivered was that and more. We love our new spaces, and we often comment that we wouldn’t have our gorgeous kitchen if it wasn’t for Lori. And its true we wouldn’t!

From concept to completion, working with Lori and the March Twice team was so good….we are embarking on another renovation journey together very soon!”
